hello dear, thanks for every thing! you are welcome!
We would like to take this opportunity to describe our work with the rural/slam mothers in Bangladesh as below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03bcnyn9PLA&list=PL6VeJh466nfBE... are women lead and a collective effort in the form of Self-Help Group and with the sense of Cooperative initiative. The members are mostly rural mothers and/or migrated from rural areas to urban slum. Its rights base and upholding the Children Rights to advocate to the duty bearers and caregivers, example success and creating the route of battling the hunger and all discrimination to the children and the women;
We believe, empowering the mothers is the key way to save the children from all discrimination. Making and increasing involvement of the mothers in manufacturing ethical products and ensuring the ownership of the producers(as called worker in the industry) by sharing the decision, capital, labour (physical) and profit;
Handmade, low cost, recycle/up cycle, organic and/or harmful chemical free, and child labour free are our key issues to describe the branding;
Projotno Bangladesh is the development forum of women cooperative initiative by the rural and urban slum dwellers. The products are made by the rural women producers, the mothers of the children of primary schools from poor families
We develop their life and trade skills and provide supports to produce diversified products by using their indigenous knowledge and obtained skills, we promote it’s, the producers earn from it and pay for the food, nutrition health and education for their children. The theme what we believe and follow, is fashion for human development.
There is a huge opportunity to make involved the rural women in the fashion industries through developing their indigenous knowledge and life skill. They develop their skills here and learn to produce diversified handmade echo-friendly products.
You are most welcome to visit our project and join in this combat against hunger to protect our children from being deprived. As we are thinking to have a expansion across the border and start working for the similar target people (the mothers and the children) in every where by using our expertise.
Appreciated if we can be granted the permission to visit your office and hear and share your opinion with us.
