About me / About business or organisation:
Fashion is an expression of personality, beliefs, values, and contemporary times, which is fashioned through the art form of different styles as well as the more practical aspect of warmth and protection. Therefore I view fashion as such an organic entity or even process, something that grows and develops along with us, to fulfil our needs to creativity and security.
I always loved expressing myself through fashion, and have drawn pictures of girls wearing pretty dresses since I could hold a pencil in my hand. However I never felt the sense of fashion not being sustainable to our earth and ultimately ourselves.
Therefore delving into sustainable fashion to me is the only and perfect choice to live a life of perfect balance: creativity and helping others (giving them beautiful clothes to wear, giving jobs to less developed communities, bringing joy to those around me).
Etica and Ella is a Spanish translation of ‘ethics and her’ and is my translation of beautiful simple and elegant design with sustainable fabrics and producing. Our satin and cotton garments are all organic as well as fair trade and our silks are hand-woven and fair trade, all certified by a certification body such as Fair Trade, EKO & the WFTO.
The latest collection is inspired by the adaptability required while travelling; one item can be worn in many different situations, based on how it is styled and accessorised. The brand is positioned at the affordable luxury price point. E+E is an exclusive lifestyle brand that transitions from day to night attire with ease.
