Hi I was at Summit 08 and so happy to see this group. Questioning fashion is right in tune with the body/spirit theme i need to wrap a sustainable fashion presentation around for a lecture series at a local college. (Seattle) October 28th....any quotes from members that i could use would be wonderful as the students need to be aware how big this neo fashion , ethical fashion world is becoming.. The power of fashion goes below surface for many as they fail to realize the impact. of this industry.

RECYCLED BEADS
hey does anyone have any contacts who supply recycled beads?? i would need quite alot of them - colours style is not an issue right now

Hi all

I set up an ethical book club

Please have a look

I have started a with a couple books and ask you to all follow the format

1) add a discussion (as its easier for people to comment their thoughts back rather than on the comment wall)
2) add a picture of the book
3) make sure you title it with author
4) give your personal review on the book ( i took from amazon but please give your own as this was simply for example purposes)
5) your score card out of 5 please - 5 = excellent, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = average, 1 = poor

and most importantly read, learn and enjoy! AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS to join too!!!

I am very happy to be introduced to discussions on susatainable fashion at London College of Fashion. I learned a lot about the issues people in fashion will need to consider in order to develop an alternative business practice that will contibute to better living and the way we treat with the environment.
