Free-radical, recycled and ethically made clothing to inspire new thinking and self-experiences.
Interests include beauty, sensuality and fun!
Especially rolling down hills with lots of people in a bath tub, mud wrestling on a sunny day, paint fights on floating sofas, fungi forays in epping forest, sleeping outside in lots of fluff with stray cats and friends, rambling restaurant poetry nights in squatted warehouses, spontaneous dance routines, the secret garden party, burning man, smiling at strangers, public body painting and naked bike rides and anything else naughty and fun!xx
Career history / Company history:
Studied Fine Art at Guildhall and graduated in Surface Design at LCC.
Created a line of printed illustation "Babsism" T-shirts, which sold in Upmarket, Brick Lane.
Studied block printing in Rajasthan with Murghal Garden.
Designed the Secret Garden Party '08 merchandise, and created the Painting Parlour- a paint-your-own merchandise workshop.
Worked as a seamstress for Prangsta Costumiers.
Run the Playsuit Parlour fanciful couture line from East London, stocking in Laden Showrooms, Marcus and Trump, Bacon St Project, My Sugarland and Koh Samui.
Playsuit Parlour also appeared at the Secret Garden Party Festival 09 and holds pop-up boutiques at Shoreditch House.
Creative Director and organiser of Festival Fashion Bazaar at the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.
