Hi guys,
I wonder if anyone here has experience of importing to the UK from east Africa? If you do would you mind 5 mins for a chat and a few words of advice or can any one reccommend a logistics company to talk to?
Many thanks

If anyone needs any help with copywriting...
I'm a freelance journalist and copywriter who lived in East Africa for two years, so African fashion and textiles are close to my heart.
Credits include: The Guardian, The Big Issue, Wanderlust, The Natural Parent
I taught English as a foreign language in Sicily and Tanzania and enjoy helping non-English speakers create fluent English content.
I also speak Italian and am keen to work with Italian ethical fashionistas looking to break into the English-speaking market.
I can provide:
- SEO web content.
- Features tailored to specific print or online media.
- Proof-reading.
- Press Releases
- Company Bio (this is one of my favourites as I love a good story)
- Blog posts
- Social Media management: twitter posts, Facebook and Google+ Updates.

Hi Ella,
There is a project in Zanzibar that do batiking and get some great colours but I'm not sure if their dyes are natural or organic, might be worth asking though -the email contact online for them is moto@madeinzanzibar.com.
Will keep my out for anything else,
Good luck,
Imogen
Hi all,
I am looking for suppliers and info regarding natural dyes or organic dyes that for small scale production in West Africa. I need all types of colours and am especially interested in strong tones... without creating a hazard to the health of the people who are working with them.
Has anyone worked with artisans or organizations who have found safer alternatives in Africa?
thanks, all tips appreciated!
Ella
