Designers who want to colaborate and anyone who want to offer suppoprt of help to our little project
About me / About business or organisation:
I work for a large overseas development charity (though I have a background in art and design) and over the last few years I was lucky enough to be able to spend more time with the women and children in two of our home-based carer groups in Kampala, Uganda, and we formulated a project we are calling ‘awamu’ (which means ‘together in Lugandan the main language spoken in Kampala).
awamu is a place for us to show you all our lovely things made by Robina, Sarah, Florence and Amerit - 100% of the money raised from the sale of our lovely things and any extra donation will be used to provide small education grants so we can help more kids complete their basic primary education and give their guardians a small fund to help them start up a business so they can feed and care for their families.
We focus mainly of childrens clothes and toys and we hope to ba able to colaborate with designers, artist and anyone who can offer something exciting our project.
Career history / Company history:
High Value Fundraisier ActionAid (97-current), awamu - Nov 2010 - current

How are you? I hope the fabric is coming in useful for you, I gave the rest to another charity.
I was great chatting to you and fantastic hearing about your vast experiences as I prepare to embark on my travels. You mentioned a couple of places/organisations which you were going to recommend that I could visit in India, I was wondering if you have had the chance to follow up? I will be writing for EFF SOURCE magazine while I am away as well so any inspirational companies you know of i'd love to hear about them.
I would very much appreciate your help. I am studying for an MA in Marketing at Kingston Business School under the supervision of Professor Robert East. We are conducting research about Fairtrade goods and ethical fashion clothes, and ask you to complete the enclosed short questionnaire. I am also offering a £50 shopping gift voucher to the lucky prize draw winner!!!!
I really need to find social responsible persons who buy ethical fashion clothes and Fairtrade food.
Could you please complete this questionnaire, following the link
