Handwoven, naturally dyed silk fabrics created by women's weaving groups in rural Thailand (fairly traded by TAMMACHAT Natural Textiles) will be available in April 2010. Bamboo is touted to be a sustainable fabric, yet it must be highly processed with large chemical or mechanical inputs to create soft fabrics. Instead, we found a much more sustainable way to use bamboo: harvest it in ways that you can continue to harvest over long periods of time, soak the bamboo, then peel the skin and weave it into baskets.

Thanks so much for connecting. I know just what you mean about "challenges", I have had so many head-scratchers already! In fact, we are relocating to Cambodia in September, as we decided it just wasn't realistic nor feasible otherwise.

I am working on Silk Denim Jeans making at 25 counts of the silk hand spun in yarn is our requirement. Take in your project either yarn or fabric okay, I will then send you the swatch we developed in our research , that is pending need be regular produced . Plus Indigo natural dying possible .
Small volume good at expriment level.
Take your time, it is project of its own first kind .Get ready and come .

We are happy to note that everything is natural fibres and dye . We are doing similar in Organic cotton for Making Denim Jeans on Indigo natural dyed.It is with out chemical .from a-z process.

Can you quote for your Silk yarn .minimum quantity .
