thanks again
hello danny, so nice to hear from you! I'm sorry it took me so long to leave a reply: I've been very busy starting 2(!) new jobs..
Thank you for reading my thesis. I have tried to make a sort of overview of the sustainable fashion industry and to point to its strenghts and weaknesses...unfortuanatly there was no time to study the subject more. I was actually hoping to do so after my graduation in my work, which is sort of happening: I recently started at Fair Wear Foundation. I think the sustainable fashion industry in the Netherlands is rapidly growing: more and more designers are foccussing on the subject, there is an annual Green Fashion Competion and 'consumers' are demanding it more often (at least I am:)). This is of course also subjective: it totally depends on the industry/environment you're in yourself. I also know people who do not care at all, and even do not know what I'm talking about. But in general I think it is a subject that is - also in the Netherlands - becoming more and more essential for designers to focus on.
Are you planning on moving your business to the Netherlands?
Regards, Lisa

p.s. Love you're denim!! I've also worked with denim in the past, customizing and re-inventing, it's a great fabric and love what you're doing with it.
Yes - part of a group planning a Fairtrade Fashion Show at Coventry University - mid March. The organiser is Marjata Doell. I will pass on your contact details to her.

I hope the world economy picks up but in a way it's better for the planet as we are buying less which of course means less pollution and waste!
