During my degree I’ve come in contact with various sectors of the fashion industry, from design to manufacture; this has created a growing awareness for me about how wasteful and damaging to the environment the fashion industry can be. I wish to set up a fashion label that can use eco fabrics and take waste from these different sectors, such as fabric waste, and remake them into something that is unique and interesting. This will ultimately reduce waste to landfills and can help to increase the awareness the fashion industry has the environment.
