Hi there!
We quite have a huge issue in finding a certain cotton twill.
We are looking for a heavy cotton twill, which is very soft on the exterior even though it's heavy! We are looking for high quality and as well very strange colors like: green amazon, black mate, smokey deep grey, pale beig etc. The most important is the softness and to be heavy! Do you know good suppliers with accessible prices which can offer this kind of cotton twill? Will be great if they are able to dyed it as well.
Thank you in advance.
Gnana Team
Hello there
We are a romanian brand lunched by Floriana Sandu-a young designer- from passion of nature, beauty and freedom. With tendencies on the contrast between natural, simplicity and craftmanship, Gnana brings a versatile and conceptual design with simple cuts, completed by the use of natural materials.
The contrast between clean cuts and the complexity of the hand made or digital prints brings the idea of the heterogeneity
of the human being, of our dual feelings and the power of emotionality.
Each collection brings a new and complete universe, by decomposing in three divisions: clothes for men and women,
accessories and jewellery and the interior design division, fusing to offer an unique and exhaustive experience.
Gnana’s characters are free, versatile and creative, explorers of the nature and of their inner world. Entities that trough imagination can give a new form to each garment
Our textiles are all natural (excepting the modal finer made of Fagus bark), traditional romanian soft goods woven however
with the latest technologies.
Properties of our textiles:
-antialergic
-aerated
-easy to maintain without ironing
-dimensionally stable indifferently of the ironing or washing temperature
-durable ecological colors
We would love to have your feedback-as your opinion matter to us.
Thank you.

Hello,
I’m Rachel Wintz, a Sociologist from Anchorage, Alaska. I’m working on a proposal to study and report on the sustainable fashion industry, profiling sustainable innovations within the industry and looking toward the future of the fashion industry and its impact around the globe on social, economic, and environmental factors.
I’d like to interview people in all sorts of positions within the fashion industry -from the farm to the factory to the shop. If the proposal is funded, I will be submitting reports to be disseminated by either the National Geographic or the Institute of Current World Affairs. If you’re available for an interview about your work in the sustainable fashion industry or perhaps would like to do a multimedia project about your work, please contact me at rachelwintz@gmail.com.
Additionally, if you have information or resources you can refer me to, I’m happy to receive any expertise you have to share with me about the sustainable fashion industry. Your collaboration is much appreciated and will greatly enhance my understanding of the sustainable fashion industry.

Hi all - just want to put it out there that I am always looking for fabric to recycle/upclycle - particularly light denim/chambray but any natural cottons/natural fabrics can always be used.
We work with two womens groups in Uganda and produce children's wear, toys and accessories as well as run sewing workshops etc in the UK all to raise money to train more women and support orphaned children in their care.
www.awamu.co.uk.....please think of us if you have anything you think we can make use of. Have a great day.
Emma
