Hi All - I am looking for some ideas to make the most of the waste fabric generated from my kidswear collection. I was thinking of doing some headbands, but would appreciate some other ideas from people trying to reduce waste to a maximum!
Thanks!!

TAMMACHAT Natural Textiles has just launched a new website at http://www.tammachat.com. Lots of fabrics by the metre: organic silks, organic cotton, conventional silks. All naturally dyed, handwoven and fairly traded. Created by hand by women artisans in rural Thailand and Laos. Gorgeous. Let us know if we can help you with fabric sourcing. Min. 1 metre purchase.

I am a Fabric Hoarder. You can't just go out and get what I need so I buy it at G. sales.I don't like the modern poly trims . I have lots of trims & zippers. I'm willing to trade.Only naturals, If you want hemp I have that too. Most of my trading stock is vintage.Right now I'm making things out of Irish linen table cloths . I live in montana. Ask me if I have it ? I might. Anna

Hey, I've started designing and sourcing possible fabrics for my graduate collection. I attended the Expo and found some very interesting suppliers to contact. I'm currently looking for any swatches/supplier info of sustainable leather (by this I mean that the hides were a by product of the food industry, or vice versa), though any supplier info/swatches (preferably free...) would be much appreciated. thanks!
