Dear Nicola
In Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou there is a center named Village Artisanal, wich includes many handcraft/artists, a good address to go and make contacts. But I am sure, you read about it yet.
Then I just read about the cotton factory and other textile factorys in Koudougou 75 km from Ouagadougou, which shouldn´t be new to you.
Also I visisted a cooperative once foundet by a dutch, of 30-40 weaving (and a bit hand spinning) woman in a village very close to Ouaga, I can search for he name, if you are interested.
And heard about a cooperative of elder woman in ouaga, who remove the cotton grain by hand.

Hi all.
I'm currently sourcing producers and textiles in Africa - I'll be in Nigeria for the next few weeks and then on to Burkina Faso. I'll be spending some time in East Africa later in the year. Does anyone know of any producers (country not important) of yarn, textiles, trims or clothing that I may not have come across yet?
Many thanks,
Nicola.
