About me / About business or organisation:
I have just launched new ethical online fashion store Think Boutique. Combining wearable style with eye-catching one off statement pieces Think Boutique presents a boutique experience from first click to delivery appealing to fashionistas from all walks of life with a common interest in making their statement in the world a positive one.

Stocking the most exciting and fashion-forward ethical brands Think Boutique strives to retail clothing that have the highest possible social and environmental credentials. Products are from Fair Trade, organic, sustainable, up-cycled or locally produced sources.

Think Boutique is based in Glasgow Scotland but we aim to bring the hand-picked collection of ethical pieces to like-minded ladies throughout the UK and the world.
Career history / Company history:
After graduating with a first class honours degree in Business from the University of Glasgow I went on to study a Masters degree in International Fashion Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian University. The focus of this Masters degree was a dissertation on ethical fashion.

I have been working in retail since 2002 and have experience of working in a variety of positions through the years from the shop floor through to the head office. Beginning by working part time in a high end successful fashion boutique whilst studying I came through the M&Co management training scheme and most recently worked as a marketing executive for a lighting company. Wanting to get back into fashion and my knowledge and interest in ethical fashion I decided to set up Think Boutique here in Glasgow.

Dear Victoria,

My name is Aline, I work for ABIT - The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association, which represents the integration of the Brazilian textile chain. In order to help Brazilian companies grow both nationally and internationally, ABIT, with the partnership of APEX-Brasil, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, created Texbrasil, Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program, in 2001.

One of our main activities is to promote articulation between international buyers and Brazilian companies, improving our trade relations. International trade agents and/or buyers interested in our products might be invited to come to Brazil, with travelling expenses sponsored by ABIT, so they can get to know more about Brazilian fashion.

I am now responsible for inviting international buyers to a ethical fashion event that is coming up next November in Brasília, Brazil. It will be a great opportunity for the world to see the innovative combinations of design with traditional techniques, great natural beauties with technological tools and preservation of the environment with social work.
.
Please, let me know if you are interested and I will send you more information.

My e-mail address is aline@abit.org.br

Regards.

Aline
