About me / About business or organisation:
I decided to found my own eco friendly designer label because I felt that globalization has just been translated into poorer quality, loss of tradition and exploitation. I am very passionate about my job and I firmly believe in my future plans. I also think that meeting other professionals with similar views is essential.
Career history / Company history:
After working as a store manager in retail for two years and then as a brand manager for an emerging ethical L.A. based designer label, I decided to start on my own fashion adventure. In the summer of 2008 we created the first 'Respectfully Handmade' Chouchou Couture collection, launched in Rome, Italy. Our success pushed us towards greater goals.

We thought you might be interested in joining our new group on the Scottish Ethical Fashion Education Network!

From September 2010 Fashioning an Ethical Industry will be working with Scottish universities and colleges to establish a network interested in teaching, learning and sharing about ethics in the fashion industry. With the support from FEI the Network will host events, develop resources and share best practice related to corporate social responsibility in the fashion industry. Please do join the group to input into the development of the network and keep informed of news and events.

Hi Silvia, I was quite amazed when I saw the name of your company because one of the textile designs in our 'Four Seasons' range is chou chou. I also have a range of Italian designs including a 'Puccini'. All of them are ethically-produced and eco-friendly. i would like to think there is something on which we could collaborate.
