"Hi Regine, Very interesting website! I run Panchachuli UK and our Award winning fabrics and accessories are hand loomed and vegetable or Azo free dyed . They can be viewed on our online brochure at www.panchachuli.co.uk
I set up Panchachuli U.K. in 2008 to support the Panchachuli Women Weavers of Kumaon, India, and to import their beautiful hand woven accessories and fabrics in to the U.K.
Since then I have been mostly retailing to niche boutiques and designers in London and New York. We weave with 100% NZ Lambs wool and 100% Mongolian cashmere, and also some other natural fibres from the local region. Our wools are either vegetable dyed or Azo free dyed in over 37 colours. We also knit and embroider specific items, and are always keen to hear your ideas.

I truly hope that my new label Solsista grows quickly and is able to incorporate some of the fantastic fabrics and accessories that Panchachuli produce and do our little bit to support such a fantastic initiative.
Keep me posted on any news. And I'll be sure to get in touch when we're established and buying.
So sorry it's taken me forever to reply but I haven't been on here since I set it up - busy working my socks off!!!
The fabrics and story behind them are fantastic. I currently use a supplier from India as well and love the fact it is traced directly back to the villages and that it keeps vital and important textile skills live.
Please keep in touch as it would be great to use you as a supplier in the future both for myself and other designers I work with.
Hi Mary, thanks for this. The fabrics look beautiful & certainly in line with my thoughts.
Would you be able to give widths, prices & usual delivery times please? And would i be right in thinking the colours are standard, due to the vegetables etc used to dye? Is there any way of seeing / feeling the fabrics? Thanks. Rebecca
Been a while since I've had a chance to chat. I had a long look at Panchachuli's website a while back and I was really impressed. I wonder: Do they retail the yarn itself? I would be very interested in replacing my current supplier, and find an ethical supplier, once we settle in Cambodia in January.
Let me know at your convenience.
