About me / About business or organisation:: I am a Ukranian woman, living most of my life in The Netherlands, doing a Master in Design in South Africa. I have a Bachelor in Textile Engineering and Management (the Netherlands), but have always been very interested in the design aspect of the industry, especially sustainable design, design thinking, design for sustainability etc.

I'm conducting research on the promotion of organic cotton farming and raising awareness among the consumers in South Africa. The research will point out design interventions which could contribute to the successful marketing of organic cotton and the support of small-scale farmers by implementing design interventions within farming communities in South Africa. Awareness among the South African consumer could be raised by (an innovative stakeholder partnership) connecting the consumers directly to the organic cotton farmers.
