About me / About business or organisation:

I have just graduated in Fashion Design from Nottingham Trent. Throughout my degree i became increasingly aware and interested in ethical issues surrounding the fashion industry. My dissertation was entitled 'Ethical Fashion:Fad or Future' and i went on to manufacture my final collection from Pre Consumer waste sourced from Ethical fashion label, 'Noir'. I am now looking to move forwards with a career within the fashion industry and help to raise awareness to consumers of the many ethical and ecological issues we face today.

Career history / Company history:

I was previously a beauty therapist and became interested in holistic treatmnents and organic products this led to me becoming interested in Fair Trade and organic and sustainable fabrics, which is what led me to undertake a degree in Fashion Design. I have done some work experience at Per Una, part of M&S and would love the opportunity to do some more work experience with an ethically minded company
