The Make It Zone is a community arts event at the Old Print Works, Alcester Rd, Balsall Heath, Birmingham.

The event is bringing together different artists and creative types to help promote the space.

The Old Printworks is a Victorian Gothic building transformed into an Energy Efficient Office / Studio / Gallery space.

The spce is up for rental.. so the Make It Zone will encourage new visitors, participants and maybe event residents. 

DAFT will be there to present a range of Upcycled garments and accesories, and to run some printing / customisation activities.

Also including drumming workshops, badge and brooch making, crochet and other slow textile demonstrations, face paiting, live art, poetry and various creative activities
