Girl About Town - DEFRA's Sustainable Clothing Roadmap

DEFRA, the UK government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has been developing a sustainable clothing roadmap as part of their work on Sustainable Production and Consumption. The roadmap aims to reduce the environmental and social impacts across the lifecycle of textiles used in the manufacture of clothing.

Defra are holding a meeting on Friday the 20th February, to discuss the progress and current status of the Roadmap. For more information on the Roadmap, and to keep up-to-date on it's progress visit the DEFRA website.
