I am a trained textile designer who has also worked as a Buyer for major high street retailers for the last 10 years and earlier this year launched my own brand Helen Gordon with a range of clothing, accessories and interior products inspired by traditional fairytales and vintage fabrics.
My designs are classic and practical, evoking a simpler, innocent era with their use of retro patterns and naive motifs in a striking palette of colours.
I have created a beautiful collection of products, including clothing, cushions, wallpaper and stationery which are designed to work individually and to complement one another.
I am keen to launch an organics range later this year and will source ethically sourced products wherever possible.
Career history / Company history:
10 years working as a textile designer on a freelance basis and for companies.
10 years as a Buyer working for major retailers like House of Fraser and The Pier.
