Hi Meian,

i know a great natural dyes place n Bali for smaller quantities, they are called Tarum Natural Dyes and the contact is Mr. Iwan (tarumbali@yahoo.com). I also know of a batik production place in Bandung. what exactly are you looking to produce?

There are 1000s in Indonesia that are weavers and dyers, but maybe only one fair trade certified company that works with producers in Bali (East Surya)

Called 'Threads of Life' they have a great website and a shop in UBUD

Hey,

I'm currently looking to find weavers in Indonesia who have great dye skills and can work with fine silks to create contemporary woven scarves??
If any one has any contacts, or knows of co-operatives, or fair trade weavers and communities I could contact, and to hopefully visit and work with, it would be amazing if you could get in touch!! to start a long a prosperus relationship with them for the future.
