In the wake of the Bangladeshi Garment Factory disaster the Ethical Fashion Forum, through its SOURCE platform, is co-ordinating a collaborative industry response, alongside partner organisations and trade bodies.
The initiative will focus upon the practical and constructive steps that need to be taken by the industry - both supply and retail sectors - to make sure that such an event will never happen again.
Join this group to connect with others and work towards constructive solutions.

Hello Everybody,
This a really important issue and the Ethical Fashion Forum is a fabulous platform for addressing it. I'm actually researching industry responses to the Bangladesh Factory tragedy, and I'd love to talk to some of you to get your views on what needs to be done to improve the situation.
If any of you are interested, just email me at: cameron.sabadoz@mail.utoronto.ca and I can provide details. I'd love to hear from you, but if not, thank you either way for your advocacy.
A topic close to my heart. As an industry we have allot to do, as do the authorities and factory owners in countries like Bangladesh. The problem does spill over outside of this area though. I have more to say but the piece I wrote below covers most of it already. Feel free to comment on it.
Fashion ComPassion founder and director Ayesha Mustafa speaks to Sky News about the Bangladesh factory collapse, talking about what consumers and manufacturers should do to prevent similar industrial accidents from happening in the future.
