Working with three small groups that we have established in Peru with the aim of generating work and income for marginalized women. The products are sold to retailers and also at special events. We are supporting around 200 women and have seen inspiring changes to the lives of the women and their families through our project.
Career history / Company history:
Lived in Peru for a year after studying Spanish through school. Degree in Spanish and Latin American studies. Internship with the Foreign Office at the British Embassy in Lima. Previous jobs have included Trade Consultant at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Export Manager for British commodities to Europe and Latin America. Commenced current work with Peru in 2005.
