Sourcing Sustainable Fabrics and Components Seminar

Thanks to all of you who attended our last Fashion+ event, on the 20th January, the first in a series focusing on sourcing sustainable fabrics and components.

Girl About Town - DEFRA's Sustainable Clothing Roadmap

DEFRA, the UK government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has been developing a sustainable clothing roadmap as part of their work on Sustainable Production and Consumption. The roadmap aims to reduce the environmental and social impacts across the lifecycle of textiles used in the manufacture of clothing.

Girl About Town - Let It Snow

For those of us in the UK, we saw much of the country transformed into a winter wonderland earlier this week. Inevitably there was an outcry at the country's inability to cope with a few inches of snow, as road, rail and airline travel ground to a halt. Green Fashion... Sitll Just a Color?

The words that describe sustainable design within the garment industry are starting to abound, each laying emphasis on a specific aspect.
