Being based in Africa for many years, my work is concerned with ethical practices and social sustainability. Hi Sarah, I'm planning a trip around Africa later this year to meet and work with fashion and/or craft producers as a sort of fact-finding mission before I eventually set up my own business. I have been working in production and product development for luxury fashion brands in the UK (currently Burberry) for the past 6 years and I am passionate about finding ways to increase production of fashion in Africa. My plan is to travel and spend some time working with a variety of projects/producers to see how we can link-up and work together to make producing in Africa more viable for western based businesses. Do you know of any great projects or suppliers worth visiting, or anyone who would appreciate an extra member of staff for a few months? Many thanks, Nicola
