About me / About business or organisation:
I am a mature student studying textiles in the UK. My interest is ethical trading and organic fashion. I am in my final year and my dissertation questions how we move on from current production (sweatshop) fashion/fast fashion. For my practice, I am looking at propaganda/protest prints and applying that to communicating ethical issues to consumers.
Career history / Company history:
After being made redundant, I took a complete career change and am now in my final year of a degree in textiles - aged sixty.

Hi Jenny. Its good to know there are so many people out there who want to improve the lives of others.. Ive lost track of the number of students doing dissertations on the subject but Ive yet to see any ideas orther than my own. I dont know what protest prints are but I started by designing textiles that offer a national symbol which can create awareness and provide funding for sweatshop workers and communities to set up their own businesses.
