I am looking to discover or buy: I would love to work in ethical fashion. Either working for a company or starting my own label. I am joining this site for motivation, inspiration and networking, hoping for a change in my career.

About me / About business or organisation:: I have a degree in fashion and currently working as a pattern cutter for a (non ethical) supplier.
I am a 27 year old girl from Norway, studied fashion in Denmark and moved to London to work in the fashion industry, which at the moment I'm not enjoying much.
My interest in ethical fashion came when I studied fashion and realized how non-ethical the majority of the industry is. Exploiting cheap labour in manufactory is of course a major problem but for me the environmental aspects are just as big a concern. Also being a vegan and animal lover, I don’t want to see animals suffer for fashion.
I do believe in change, especially seeing all the great labels displayed on this site. I believe you are motivating more people to join in ethical fashion. Keep up the good work everybody:)
