Hello all

So good to find this group.  I am a market researcher and have been in the industry since 2000, and have worked for a number of large market research agencies, the following are just a few of the the big ones - Ipsos Mori, TNS -RI, and NOP.  I run a syndicated market research survey for the ethical fashion industry in Britain and will be presenting some of the findings in June at the City Business Library.  Would love to invite you guys so please watch the space.

PS if you want to contact me for more info:

I’m Rachel Wintz, a Sociologist from Anchorage, Alaska. I’m working on a proposal to study and report on the sustainable fashion industry, profiling sustainable innovations within the industry and looking toward the future of the fashion industry and its impact around the globe on social, economic, and environmental factors.

I’d like to interview people in all sorts of positions within the fashion industry -including researchers. If the proposal is funded, I will be submitting reports to be disseminated by either the National Geographic or the Institute of Current World Affairs. If you’re available for an interview about your work in the sustainable fashion industry or perhaps would like to do a multimedia project about your work, please contact me at

Additionally, if you have information or resources you can refer me to, I’m happy to receive any expertise you have to share with me about the sustainable fashion industry. Your collaboration is much appreciated and will greatly enhance my understanding of the sustainable fashion industry.

If you’d like to take a look at my work, please visit my portfolio:

Thank you,

Rachel Wintz

Hi Everybody,

I'm actually doing a study on human rights standards in the apparel industry, and I'd really appreciate a chance to talk to some of you about your views on these issues - be you students, academics, or professionals. All different perspectives are really helpful to me.

If any of you are interested and have some time, just send me an email at and I can provide details.

Thanks so much!
