About me / About business or organisation:
I am the founder of Shine 21, a branding and design consultancy firm specialized in fashion, jewellery, beauty and fashion related consumer products. I provide design and development, marketing strategies, as well as branding strategy and management for SME’s.
I also specialized in sustainability design and business issues and hope to help SMEs to tackle the problems regarding these issues.
I have strong background in fashion and consumer goods market for over 17 years. I have a MA Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and MBA (Marketing) from University of Stirling in UK, plus a Graduate Diploma in Managing Consultant from the Unversity of Hong Kong (Poon Kam Ki Insitute). In 2007, I also gained a Master accessories design from the Domus Academy, Milan, Italy. I teach extensively in several tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.
Career history / Company history:
I was a fashion designer since 1992 and worked in the fashion industry for over 18 years. During this period, I have gained experience in design & development, marketing and branding.
In the last eight years or so, I have been teaching extensively in tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.

Great to see that there is a China group and things are happening over there - not so good (and very surprising) that there are only 12 people in the China group!

I am now working with SME's in Africa where I am building capaity, developing standards and creating links between producers and the International fashion industry. I am keen to create links between African countries and Hong Kong and China so if you know of anyone who has an interest in African fashion or textiles (I am working with many hand-weaving co-operatives) then I'd be interested to hear more.
