so much to say about me - personally, visit www.jillheller.com
but professionally, I am so proud to share some wonderful news with you. It is with great joy and passion that I announce the launching of my new company, Pure Thread. Since I was a young girl, I have been fascinated with the art of dressing the female form. My fascination took me on an exciting journey – from fashion marketing school to the launch and operation of two successful boutiques and, finally, to my fresh career as a stylist.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been feeling the pull of my original passion for dressing women and decided to change directions while still making a meaningful contribution to the fashion industry. Pure Thread is a unique styling services company with the mission of helping a wide range of women – from high level executives to at-home moms – to develop their dream wardrobes.

Building my passion for yoga and wellness and my concern for the environment, I’ve created Pure Thread to be unlike any styling company of the past. On the cutting edge of introducing sophisticated sustainable fashion into your closets, Pure Thread highlights pieces and brands that are healthy for the planet while also being drop-dead gorgeous. My approach to helping you edit your closet and transform your wardrobe is fun, comforting and “less is more”. For those key new pieces to pull everything together, I will seek out products that feel cozier, last longer, and are made of sustainable materials that embody less energy use and fewer toxins.

The most respected fashion analysts tell me that this is the way most fashionable women will be dressing in a few years. I don’t want my clients to wait. I am so excited to work with a wide range of personalities, lifestyles and body types, and to help you discover and create your unique, sustainable style. For more information about Pure Thread and how my styling services might enhance your lifestyle, please call me to chat anytime at ______________.
Career history / Company history:
Jill Heller is an entrepreneurial fashion leader with a unique background in traditional wholesale, innovative retail, and wellness lifestyle. Born into a family of women’s clothing manufacturers, Jill launched and operated her first profitable young contemporary boutique “Chilly” on Columbus Avenue, NYC in 1986. In 2003 she launched her second successful high-end boutique, “On the One”, showcasing contemporary designer brands in a Westchester, NY suburban market, and filling a market niche with an innovative concept in women’s retailing. By handpicking and merchandising the finest luxury fashion, Jill created a life-style shopping atmosphere, forging a unique connection with her customers. Bottom-line driven with a distinctive vision for marketing strategies that drive sales and
establish brand concepts, Jill is a motivator who conveys a sense of
commitment and passion for the industry. Her success with On the One earned widespread publicity in The New York Times,
Harper’s Bazaar, O Oprah Magazine, InStyle, Lucky, Cosmopolitan, Fit Pregnancy, and was twice selected “Best of Westchester” by Westchester Magazine.

Throughout her career in fashion, Jill has been a high-profile advocate for yoga, pilates and wellness. She pioneered the instruction of “hot yoga” in Westchester, introduced Pilates to the Westchester market, and developed a loyal following based on her compassionate teaching style.

A visionary motivator who conveys commitment and passion for the fashion industry, Jill is focusing her efforts on leading the wave of introducing sophisticated eco-fashion and home décor into a wider market. With her hands-on, real world approach, she is literally placing sustainable fashion and home design into the closets of her clients. Enter 2010 with Pure Thread, her stylist company that focuses on beautifully designed clothing that keeps both environmental and social responsibility in mind.

Jill has a degree in business marketing from Syracuse University and remains dedicated to philanthropy, supporting The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation (enriching the lives of adolescents and adults with autism) and Women At Risk, the Breast Cancer Program at NY Presbyterian Hospital.

Hi Jill, I've sourced wool and mohair from South Africa, cashmere from Nepal and wild silk from Madagascar, all of them ethically processed in one country from yarn to fabric. Each is woven to my own designs, design which incorporate the colours in the flags of countries to provide them with a national symbol which is colourful, appropriate, identifiable and flexible. These fabrics can be used for single pieces, for skirts or jackets or as trimmings and/or accessories. The range of colours makes matching with single colours relatively simple. Wearers have the added pleasure of knowing that part of the price they pay goes to support people in deprived communities.

Environmerntal considerations, ethical production and social responsibility must begin with the fabric.
