Not quite sure I understand what you mean by owning those tartans. Anyways, it would be very cool to do a series with some african tartans.
You mean that you are interested in manufacturing them in Africa? I operate in Kenya and know the textile industry is starved for work. There is an export processing zone I am exploring...
Hi David - sorry for the very slow response! My other, full-time business has pulled me away from working on my bag biz. I'm all ears (or eyes, as it were) for your suggestions!
Hi David,
What kind of producers are you interested in from Kenya? Do let me know as we have access to a good number working in a variety of materials.

Hi David, Good to know that you are now looking to produce fabric in India. We will be very interested in producing it for you. Please let me have the details and quantity. Warm regards shailini. you can email me on shailini@moiralfibre-fabrics.com.
hello David, thanks for getting in touch. Just checked and my website should be working fine :) At the moment I specialise in eveningwear, but will definitely be in contact if I will be using tartans in any of my upcoming collections!
How would I get a hold of the fabric, I love tartans and checks, I always use them in some variation in my collections, you can e-mail me on info@un-told.co.uk. I'm also thinking that perhaps there would be a way of incoporating this into next years Fashion Diversity student project brief as a theme... Is there a broader range?
what a fantastic vision and cause. I often have the same conversation, The continent has so much to offer and yet it's sold short at every turn. How could people assist or get involved? Are there specific projects that are happening that could benefit from the involvement of designers? Perhaps there's scope to work with you on one our projects to raise the profile of the cause?
