The latest fashion trend crop up in North Brooklyn where many eco friendly stores and boutiques set up shop.  Sustainable living by swapping clothes. Now the area just became greener with the new organizers David and Ann Badillo, who set up their own brand Browse and Pick in 2011.

David and Ann Badillo came up with the new idea to host swap parties on a much larger scale. Clothes swapping is not only about changing clothes & cleaning up wardrobes, it is also about making a positive impact on the environment.

An environmentally conscious company, which contributes to the global effort to expand the green initiative, Browse & Pick hosts these events which are geared toward women, and children. In winter of 2013, they will expand by introducing their fashion swap for men.

Here's how it works: first, you purchase “an admission ticket” that is available on their own site to the scheduled event. Then, you bring your own goodies (maximum of 20) which need to be based on quality and fashion. And you are ready to Browse and Pick!

Browse & Pick aims to expand their tours throughout New York City and other major cities throughout the United States in the foreseeable future.
