Tuesday we held our event 'Ethical Fashion Goes Global' at the Cinnamon Kitchen in Shoreditch, and ethical fashion truly went global for the few hours during the event! We had three contributors tweeting the event live and managed to share snippets of gold from our panel of guest speakers. Follow the event on twitter HERE to see what exactly we were tweeting, who we tweeted, and the live responses we received. NB. Please forgive all our typo's in our tweets.
The event was an introduction to the latest global market and supply trends for sustainable fashion, including an exclusive preview of the EFF’s SOURCE: The global platform for sustainable fashion, and a review of applicants and winners ofEFF’s global INNOVATION awards.
Key Focus Topics Included:
The event proved hugely successful and everyone in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions to the panel of speakers afterwards as well as network with each other over a cocktail or two (two for one thanks to Cinnamon kitchen!). Guests who brought along their laptops were also able to benefit from free access to the SOURCE online platform – business intelligence, resources, and database, at the end of the event.
We were also issuing preview videos (on disk) of EFF’s globally recognised Excellence in Ethical Fashion training in business, market, and supply. Designed to support entrepreneurs and businesses with social and environmental goals to excel financially, achieve successful sales, and increase their profile – while maximising their social and environmental benefits.
A big thank you to everyone who came and we would love your feedback. We are also hoping to incorporate live video streaming of our free events soon so those of you who were tweeting from across the world can connect with us on a one to one basis.
