A turning point in the italian fashion industry!
Yesterday has been presented to the public and the media the first results of the project Bio Ethical Sustainable Trend organized by Michelangelo Pistoletto (artist) and Franca Sozzani (Editor in Chief of Vogue Italia since 1988). Eleven young fashion designers presented the look they created from a selection of ethically sourced Italian textiles.
Franca Sozzani declared "A magazine, i believe, has a mission and Vogue, as 'the' fashion magazine also has a responsability to help the readers understand not only the ephemeral side of fashion, but also the ethical side."
During the conference a new editorial project focused on ethical fashion, called EVER Manifesto was lounched with a clear statement: "Everlution Fashion is change and reinvention. Susteinability is just the next step. Break the rhythm of fashion. March to a new drum."
