A collaborative movement in the heart of trendy Dalston, the Here Today Here Tomorrow Spring showcase was a celebration of sustainable design. A bright and airy studio shop adorned with soon-to-be-sewn recycled fabrics and buttons, and finished creations sat enticingly on rails. Here is the place to purchase handmade oyster card holders, reflective cycling brooches and amasses of beautiful quirky clothes.
The event focused on the new collections of eco-label Antiform, a trendy up-cycling designer from Leeds. The designs, featuring a range of recycled bow-ties, brightly coloured leggings and striped knitwear were a great addition to Antiform’s capsule Autumn/Winter collection. The folklore, heritage and sportswear inspired pieces worked well together to make a fabulously wearable collection.
It was great to visit such a collaborative and fashion forward shop with sustainable concepts at the forefront of the concept. Here Today Here Tomorrow is a must see for all those with a love for ethical fashion. Brands stocked include: Antiform, Outsider, Goodone, Lilia Yip, Gwen Bajon, Diy Couture and Soko Kenya.
As you can see upcycled bag in the display window which was designed by Julia Crew who uses, including sourcing second hand leather from upholsters and manufacturers with unwanted materials.
Antiform’s collection is available at the shop (30A | Balls Pond Road | Dalston | London) and will be soon be available to buy online; http://www.antiformonline.co.uk/
