Ally Bee Knitwear Founder, Alison Baker, is pleased to announce the label has been selected to join British eco-fashion labels to present the Autumn/Winter 15 collection at SUPER at Pitti Immagine in Milan from Friday 28th to Monday 2nd March 2015.
The Green Closet project brings together selected British labels committed to sustainable sourcing and production. Organised and promoted by UK Department of Trade and Industry's Milan Office, the event has been running over several years and is attended by international buyers attending Pitti's Super trade show in search of product innovation.
Ally Bee will be previewing the Autumn/Winter Cold Climate Collection in British alpaca accessories and garments. The raw alpaca fibre is collected from smallholdings in the south of England and spun to a commercial knitwear specification in a small mill in the region. All Ally Bee pieces are made in the Scottish Borders, supporting a long tradition of skilled manufacturing in the region.
For further information about the collection or to book a viewing appointment at Pitti Immagine, please contact Alison Baker on info@ally-bee.com.
