Designer maker with a BA (Hons) in Fashion, and an MA in Fashion and the Environment.
Industry experience in design (CAD), pattern cutting and manufacture, as well as freelance work in illustration (computer) and manufacture.
Personal experience spans many jobs and much involvement, developing an assortment of skills along the way.
Plan for the future is to further explore the design and make practice I developed from my art college days through to the recent completion of my Masters.
Otherwise, I am a collector of inspirational things. I like to explore all sorts of places. I like to cycle, though not so much in London anymore. I like the satisfaction of making nice things, from cakes to vegetarian dishes to clothing to jokes.
Specialties: Sewing and alterations, (experimental) pattern cutting, design, crafts (crochet, knitting, beadwork, embroidery, natural dyeing), trend analysis including mood/colour/fabric/silhouette, disseminating research, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator & InDesign, environmental and human rights campaigning, vanilla fudge muffins, good hot blackcurrant, telling stories and puns, making new stuff from old stuff, being really organised and efficient.
Seeking a permanent creative role within design, manufacture and consultancy. Must share similar philosophy in terms of design and sustainability.

Hello there! I am a student from Canada and I am currently sourcing ethical fabrics for my graduate collection as well. I see you have attended an Expo and found some interesting suppliers to contact. I'm wondering if you would be able to share these with me? I'm having a hard time finding suppliers. I would appreciate this so much!
Thank you - Jenna
