I am looking to discover or buy: like minded people for networking and possible career contacts.

About me / About business or organisation:: I love designing and making clothing. I try to use fabric remnants, vintage or secondhand fabrics and trimmings wherever possible.

Career history / Company history:: I have worked in a couple of factories as a sewing machinist.
My first fashion retail job was in H&M, I also worked for Phase Eight for 5 years.
I have a HND in fashion and textiles and it was whilst studying that I became aware of the environmental impact of the fashion industry. I did my dissertation on organic fashion.
After studying I managed a charity shop for 4 years and became even more consious of recycling and reusing old clothing and fabric.

I have a passion for vintage clothing and love altering damaged pieces and give them a more modern twist.
