Career history / Company history:
PROFILE
Capacities
She held various managerial position before setting up Due Season Enterprises in 1999 and Buy Nigeria Products Ltd in 2003.
Her work experience spans over 20 years.
Apart from the formal Education she has skills in the areas of textile designing (Local Fabrics), garment Manufacturing, Arts and Crafts and Contact Centre Management. Buy Nigeria Products is into online sales of African Products and Services and also manufactures Clothing. We have been doing African clothing since 1996. We were second runner up in the first fashion show organized by Silverbird Productions.
Due Season Enterprises is into IT services. We have a business centre that caters for our offline IT services and also offers contact services to client. We act as manufacturer’s agent online. Buy Nigeria promotes made in Africa products and services to the world. We provide a platform for trading and help facilitate export.
My interest in export has seen me as the 1st Vice Chairman of NACCIMA Export Action Group (a Committee in the Chamber of Commerce), the pioneer writer of the Export column of Business Day Newspaper and also a member of the caretaker Committee of the Nigerian Network of Women Exporters of Services. I am also in the working Group of NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women. I have a strong flare for marketing and Trade which has made me to pursue my profession diligently.
There is huge potential for the garment industry both locally and internationally. We are positioned to be a key player in the industry in the near future. Lack of infrastructure and funding has affected the industry. The need for a business that will be a key player in the global arena led us to start www.buynigeriaonline.com, a web portal that promotes African products and services and we also offer real-time payment solutions through VTN and PayPal.
Our IT service also includes web development and design.
Due Season currently maintains the website of Covenant University, NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial women, NEXAG and a host of others.
We have acquired the necessary skills to produce under AGOA for the American Market by NEPC and EDS.
We look forward to gaining market access. We have attended seminars organized by the West African Trade Hub and are regular users of INTRCEN and WATH websites.
OUR PRODUCT INCLUDES:
1. Clothing
2. African Wears
3. Uniforms
4. Beads
5. Bags with African Touch
6. Arts and Crafts
7. African Textiles
8. Quilted skirts, hood, Jackets and Household Items.
We do a lot of combination of the African and Western to produce our unique brand.
