About me / About business or organisation:

A qualified textile designer from Srishti, design school Bangalore. My major interest and passion being hand-wovens and other hand-crafted textiles. An opportunity to work with weavers based in Bangladesh (over the past 5 yrs), to working with corporate, visiting faculty on design to working as an consultant, has motivated me to start a brand of my own 'Two up two down'. A company which specialises in hand-crafted textiles by working with skilled weavers in remote areas to training unskilled ladies to create exquisite textiles which have a universal appeal.

Career history / Company history:

I- have worked as a design consultant to a social enterprise 'PRABARTANA LTD', based in Bangladesh over the past 5 years.
2- Worked with textile export houses for a duration of 2 yrs
3- Visiting faculty to Srishti
4- Worked with corporate (Reliance Retail) asa design manager
5- Created collections for Niche and high-end stores
6- Award as the 'Young creative Fashion entrepreneur Award 2010' by British Council'.
