I graduated from Nottingham Trent University this summer with a Ba(Hons) degree in Fashion and Textile Management. My major dissertation titled 'Fair Trade Fashion: From Niche to Mainstream' explored how fair trade producer groups at the factory stage could work with mainstream retailers. My research took me to individuals at different stages of the supply chain. The EFF has been invaluable in making connections within the world of ethical fashion. I would like to thank all the people i have met along the way who have helped develop my knowledge.
Since graduating I have been working as an assistant garment technologist for a high street retailer. I have not lost sight of the ethical fashion world and in my spare time I work for a new non-profit organisation called 'Global Action Through Fashion' which was founded with the vision to create a more equitable and sustainable world through the promotion of socially and environmentally responsible fashion.
