About me / About business or organisation:
• Upcycle Eco-Fashion Designer specializing in Eco-Design/ Eco-Consultation/ Eco-Advocacy
• American/Italian designer reworking the old into new and reinventing the eras to empower women. • Creates from antique, vintage & thrift store pieces, recycled fabrics, and household & outdoor materials. • Made with very little resources: Designing in a basement, in a farm house, sewn on the floor, ironed on cardboard, hand stitched onto myself when unable to borrow mannequin, portable racks of “ready to be again” silhouette pieces. - I'm motivated by creating a Cultural Shift throughout the media. It's happening. I have the background in social activism now connecting with the creativity and possibilities of what amazing change we can create together. If it's possible AND it's so much fun to reconstruct clothes, I believe this movement can transform the modern "consumer"...or in the least wake them up a bit!

Hi lanni
Your work looks outstanding. We would be interested in finding ways to showcase what you do through various events that we run. Please do consider applying for an INNOVATION award- see the Ethical Fashion Forum website under Innovation for details. We will be inviting applications in March/ April next year. Is your work for sale, and have you thought through how you will produce pieces in quantity if you get orders? We look forward to seeing more from you, Tamsin (Director, Ethical Fashion Forum)
