About six times a year I turn into a crazy person. I become possessed by a desperate urge to frantically tear through the shops and spend money I don't have on clothes I don't need. About me / About business or organisation:
My background is in development having worked with the Red Cross, UNICEF, and the Guyana Human Rights Association. However, my true love has always been fashion, clothes, accessories and beautiful things. In 2007 I decided that I didn't have to choose one path and could combine my passion for people, the environment and fashion into one career. I completed my MA in environment, development and policy at the end of 2008 and focussed heavily on 'ethical fashion' and its relationship to business and retail. 2) What made you want to enter the field of 'ethical fashion'?

3) What advice would you give to consumers on how they can take steps to lower their fashion footprint?

I am a Journalism student at Liverpool John Moores University, and am currently working on a fashion feature to do with sustainable/ethical fashion. The feature will be going on the JMU Journalism site which is accessed in over 150 countries.
