- SUSS UK is the brainchild of fashion designer Abigail Grainger and journalist Emma Grace Bailey. The start-up aims to proactively, through events and media engagement, create awareness of sustainability and environmental issues within the fashion and beauty industries. At the cutting edge of popular culture these industries have a responsibility to educate and inform the general public. SUSS UK hopes to lead the way in this regard.

- SUSS UK was founded in September 2016 with a series of talks in East London that saw over 150 every day consumers turn up to see the likes of Tamsin LeJeune, Carry Somers, Cyndi Rhoades and Amanda Johnston talk about the issues of fast fashion and how we can all make small decisions to change the future of our planet.
With the aim of making the fashion industry more transparent, so consumers can make more informed decisions and start asking brands to change, our focus is on pairing education with access to better brands.
In light of this our next initiative scheduled for September 2017 will be a pop-up sustainable concept store, selling ethically made and sourced good across fashion, beauty and homeware, which will run in tandem with another series of talks and workshops.
