I am a fashion designer, denim artisan and brand hacker. I teach at Óbuda University in Budapest and I design seasonal collections for brands. I do product development by giving production support and strategic consulting.
Career history / Company history:
I started my career in Subotica (former Yugoslavia, currently Serbia) in a huge local RTW company. In 1992, I settled with my family in Hungary. In 1989, I found my independent design studio, and I started to work as a freelance for casualwear, streetwear, sportswear and jeanswear brands. I developed seasonal collections, and I did patterning, sampling and the product development as well.
I create my collections as artistic scrapbooks. Space for my professional view and international connections is site denimglobe.com. A limited capsule collection is popped up each season under my a.k.a. name edit a Q’ray.
Currently, I work as Senior Lecturer at Óbuda University Budapest, Sándor Rejtő Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Protection Engineering, Institute of Product Design.
