I am a third year student studying Decorative Arts at Nottingham Trent University. Due to the broad nature of my course i have explored a range of textile based proccesses including felting, lasercutting, print and pattern cutting.
For my final project i have specialised in print design and screen printing to create fashion garments which explore the relationship between colour and shape on a reversible, transparent garment. I will produce a range of reversible garments, enhancing the garments longevity and adaptability due to the different colour and shape compositions that will appear on either side if the garment. As a result my garments will be sustainable as they will reduce the number of garments you need through adaptability. Sustainability and colour play a key role in my work.
