About me / About business or organisation:
I am 24 year old Law Graduate and currently work for Christian Aid as a Youth Volunteer Development Officer. I also run a Social Enterprise called Fashion 4 Change. Through this, I organise fashion fundraising events, which are a combination of swishing parties/fashion shows. My strap line is: where fashion changes more than your wardrobe: it changes lives. Money raised from these events is being used to build Practical Skills Centres in a number of developing countries where young adults can go and learn trades such as tailoring, jewellery making and bag making. We then provide them with loans and business advice so that they are then able to set up businesses and hence have a route out of poverty.

Hi Abigail, Im very interested in your fashion shows. Tartans for Africa now has specially designed fabrics for 23 African countries which create awareness and are an important fundraiser for projects all over Africa. I work with womens groups - Karibu in Scotland and World Women Trade Fair in the USA - and collaborate with fashion colleges in the UK and Europe. This is the YouTube link for the first Tartans for Africa fashion show. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tartans+for+africa&search_type=&a=f
