Hi Ruth, Im working on a project which has similar aims to your own. Although Kenya is only one of 22 African tartan I own it is very popular especially with Edinburgh's links to Kenya through the Commonwealth Teachers Exchange Programme. I have the support of the Kenya High Commission and work with World Women Trade Fair to create sustainable businesses for womens groups throughout Africa. The Kenya tartan is now being woven in Africa and iIm looking for fashion designers/ manufacturers.
