I am a designer based in Scotland making one off pieces using a combination of vintage and new fabrics.
Career history / Company history:
Graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2003 started working with a vintage shop reworking vintage garments which led on to me creating the Rowanjoy label in 2005.

    Hi Rowan if you look at the pics on my EFF profile you'll get some idea of what some of my fabrics look like.

    Imagine a truly cosmopolitan city of only 400,000 people only 20 mintes from the sea and the countryside with the largest built World Heritage site, the largest Arts Festival and the first Unesco City of Literature, etc etc. Gold!

    Hi Rowan,

    We thought you might be interested in joining our new group on the Scottish Ethical Fashion Education Network!

    From September 2010 Fashioning an Ethical Industry will be working with Scottish universities and colleges to establish a network interested in teaching, learning and sharing about ethics in the fashion industry. With the support from FEI the Network will host events, develop resources and share best practice related to corporate social responsibility in the fashion industry.
