About me / About business or organisation:
I am Charlie, founder of 'Charlie boots' , an ethical womenswear label selling clothing that is designed and pattern cut by myself. It is UK made by local artisans and all the fabrics are ethically sourced. I use organic, fair-trade, vintage, bamboo and re-claimed fabrics.
I have a limit of ten items per design so nothing is mass produced. The garments are couture-finished with binding so they last longer and this also allows me to make my designs reversible.Two outfits for the price of one!
I now have a shop in Bath (35 Broad street) where I also sell the work of many other artists and designers. We have accessories and homewares for both sexes. The shop focuses on design led products, locally made, recycled and sustainable.

    I have been working with natural fibres in Nepal for a long time now and can supply you with fibre, yarns, textiles, as well as finished goods.     I just had a look at your website, it is great, I love the nature of your ethical fabric sourcing. For my final collection I sourced in much the same way. I up cycled a lot of fabrics that I sourced at Crescent Trading near Old Street in London, I don't know if you have heard of it? If not it is definitely worth a look.

    Where are you based? I am currently working on an ethical fashion research project, based at Westminster University. It is an academic role, but I would like to remain involved in creative projects too, and would love to know more about your company.
